Moot court is an extracurricular activity at many law College in which participants take part in simulated court or arbitration proceedings, usually involving drafting memorials or memorandum and participating in oral argument. In most countries, the phrase “moot court” may be shortened to simply “moot” or “mooting”

The College of Law offers a purpose built moot court to support students in mooting activities – a vital part of any law degree.

Our Mooting and Advocacy Society host regular moots in the court, as well as hosting an annual mooting competition and helping students to prepare for national mooting contests.
